Bible Studies
Many of my hubs will be an extension of my website. www.freebiblestudyresource.com. My kitten Tigger in the avatar is purring now the site is back up, and welcomes you if you choose to visit. I will be growing it as I can over the weeks, months, and years to come.
My blog changed to Bible Studies. I changed the blog, because I wasn't keeping up with the other. The new one is a commitment to read the Bible in one year I decided to do with my church. I'm reading the NLT along with the KJV. So far, I have one new hub from my studies Judge Me God. Hopefully more will follow.
I'm changing my site over to wordpress. It will have a new design, and will be easier to read and scan hopefully. I'm still trying to work on it along with the new commitment.
No matter how much you study the Bible, there is always more to learn. Putting the information on the site, and breaking it down does slow the process. I noticed I learned more by doing so than when I haven't.
I know I'm still at the beginning of Matthew. Long story, which includes loosing over half of the site. You will see verses in later chapters in the topics, but will not be able to find earlier verses. I'll be working on that as I catch back up to where I was.
The insights I wrote in the hubs I have gleaned while reading and studying the Bible. They were from God. I know this because there was a time where I turned my back on Him. I could not gain any more insights worth writing down, and the site suffered greatly.
Hopefully by the grace of God, God will start showing me new things in the Bible I never seen before. As always, I welcome your own insights and comments as well. I hope everyone shares their insights also.
I'm back now, and into God more than I ever have been. Worship songs and sermons are a part of my daily life. I'm still working on the praying though. My trust and faith are fully in Him.
I believe there can be multiple meanings in a verse or passage. For example with two of my hubs, Miracle of the Virgin Birth, and Jesus Birth as a Forshadow, both cover Matthew 1:18-25. Both Hubs cover two totally different topics.
I am creating the website as I study and learn more about the Bible. Over time I hope it will become a tool to help people study and find what they are searching for in the Bible as well. If you do go to the site, and see another area I could add that would be helpful, please let me know.
I feel the hubs have have been a blessing, and people on here have shown me that there is some value as to what I'm doing. I just wish I kept up with everything through all these years. I almost feel like it is too little too late. I still have a lot of years ahead of me God willing, and if Jesus doesn't come soon. Two of my daughters are in elementary school, and one in middle school. It's been that long?
Time seems like it is flying, and I don't have enough time in the day to get things done. With God's help, I'll at least get what is important done. Sometimes that means spending more time with God, and sometimes that means spending more time with the family.
Hopefully, I will be able to do everything I have been wanting to do.
All things are possible with God.
