Facebook Zoo World Game Tips and Hints

Good zoo basics here Making the Most of Zoo World (facebook). Some more strategy tips I wish I knew before starting to play. Changing the ticket booth price is gone.

I think one of the best decisions I made, was creating a facebook account just for zoo world. That way I could have as many zoo mates as I wanted without having to worry about them reading or seeing anything personal I wanted to keep between myself, family, and close friends. I ended up joining other facebook games through this account. You need at least 50 zoo mates to unlock all the islands, and that is a lot of strangers to be looking at your account.

Tips:

1) Do not adopt any animals from the feed until after level achievement 22 Noah's arc. I'm stuck here with six animals I adopted, and can't buy.

I did hear there is a three of a kind later on. If you do adopt after level 22, try to adopt two of the same animal and see if you can breed them. I think I actually unlocked one animal to buy after I adopted it by leveling up, but can not be sure. I am not sure if there are only adoptable animals.

2) The first gift basket you open usually contains an animal. You can get three gift baskets a day. It is fairly easy to get duplicate animals through them.

4) Upgrading collectables and wrenches can be done in the shop under the collectables tab. You can upgrade the mushrooms, lush trees, flowering trees, shrubs, sculptures, and kiosks.

Upgrade the kiosks with the wrenches you collect each day. The higher the level of kiosk, the more you earn. There are 4 kiosks I know of: Balloon Stand, Cotton Candy Cart, Burger Stand, and Keychain Stand. There is a bronze, sliver, gold, and Platinum level.

Strategy on how you upgrade kiosks is up to you. You can either level up one kiosk until it reaches Platinum, or upgrade the kiosks evenly.

5) As you level up by collecting hearts, the prices of everything goes up. You also get more when you collect money from the entrance, the kiosks mentioned above, the bird house of prey show, and clicking on mission accomplished from other people’s walls.

6) Easiest way to post adoptable animals over and over again, and get adoptable animals is to collaborate with a friend. You are each logged into your facebook account. One of you finds an animal to adopt. You try and more than likely get a shrub. Then wait for about a minute, and you get an animal to adopt.

Then tell your friend that you are posting an animal to adopt. Your friend refreshes your wall, and adopts the animal. Your friend waits about a minute or so, and they post an animal to their wall. You go to their wall, refresh, and adopt their animal. You just keep the cycle continuing.

7) This is the best way to increase your chances to adopt an animal on your own. In the lower right hand corner is the facebook chat. It sits right at the bottom of the screen almost hidden. Click where it says chat, and it will pop up and tell you who is online.

Then you go to the wall of people who are online. You will have a better chance to adopt an animal from that person's wall, especially if they are currently playing zoo.

I heard that if you don’t click on the green check mark after clicking on the adopt button, you actually collect the animal and also leave it on the wall for someone else to collect. Unless that is a glitch zoo world has fixed or may fix later. Until then, you can always not click it.

I recently read on zoo forums that animals will only be able to be adopted for an hour. After an hour is passed, all you will get is a shrub.

8) If you are collecting flowers, try to collect them off a person's wall within the first 6 hours of posting to try to get that color. Sometimes it will say sorry all the pink are taken here is a white one for your garden. Don't worry if you have extra roses, they will just help you with your next upgrade. There are only so many flowers you can collect in a day. The day I got that message, I wasn't counting how many I was trying to collect.

When you are collecting anything else such as shrubs, gifts, tables, and etc, they can usually be collected at anytime as long as you didn’t collect it already.

9) Fastest way to collect money after you collected everything you can from your zoo is to visit zoo mates zoos, click on their greenhouses, search for posts on your zoo mates walls that say they leveled up, and mission accomplished an animal was saved. Before you would get money by saving a whale, but zoo world changed it so you only get a red mushroom when you help. Second fastest is to go through people's zoos and find the greenhouses, and note somewhere who has a greenhouse and on which island.

Now zoo world has added Scout a cute dog treasure hunter that takes 25 juice a zoo to find the treasure. The more you level up, the more the treasure is worth.

If you have so many zoo mates that you can’t visit all of the zoos, when treasure hunting start with the highest level zoo mate. The higher level zoo mates usually have gold greenhouses. I have gotten up to $11,000 zoo dollars so far from gold greenhouses. Some have several greenhouses.

10) Cupid and candy man were viable with being able to post and collect juice boxes on walls, and sending them to friends as gift requests. Most of the time they send juice boxes back.

Unfortunately zoo limited the number of juice you can collect to 200 a day. You can now either collect some treasure, or collect some hearts. It is really up to you. There are several different things to think about. This is based only if you feed your animals once a day, or every two days.

a)      If you need money: You can feed and manually collect hearts each day, and use all your juice for treasure hunting.

b)      If you need help collecting all the hearts and feeding the animals, use the juice on cupid and candyman.

c)      Alternative you could feed and collect hearts every two days. Day one you feed and collect hearts with the help of cupid and candyman. Day two you use scout to find treasure as your animals will not need to be fed. Day three you feed and collect your hearts with cupid and candyman again. Then repeat the process.

d)     If you are rich, you can buy juice with actual cash. Personally I don’t see the point in paying for pixels, unless you just want to help the people who created the game.

11) If you want to level up extremely quick, you can collect hearts every 10 minutes worth 1xp each.

12) Set a time limit, since it can be addictive visiting people’s zoos and walls to collect items, and help people by sending them what they need. This is especially true with a high number of zoo mates.

13) You can train your eagle to help it race faster if you decide to race your bird. When you collect your stones, you can only use as many stones as you have zoo friends. Stones add speed from +1 to +9. I found that it is better to keep more +1 and +2 stones, and only upgrade when necessary. You have to use three +1 stones to get one +2 stone. You are actually trading +3 for a +2.

When you race, no matter if you win or loose as long as you pop balloons you will get zoo dollars. You can obtain more stones by looking to see if anyone published the stones on their walls.

14) The newest feature on zoo world is the play to win wild life points on zoo blast by betting wild life points. It is a tiny orange button under your next achievement on the right hand side. You can win zoo wild life points, but you have to gamble wild life points in order to play. The first time is free, since they are teaching you how to play. After that you can loose all the wild life points you bet, or gain a ton more.

Wild life points are initially hard to get, unless you buy them with real money. If you bet any, I suggest becoming very good at the game first. On the main game screen where you can choose if you want solo play or tournament, on the bottom is a free practice play. Practice first, become good, and then play. 

I like match three games, but what I don’t like about this game is that you only have a minute to rack up a huge score. Only those who are the best are going to be able to win a lot of wild life points. For people like me who are only ok at games like those, it isn’t worth our time unless you want to take time to possibly become one of the best.

What some consider cheats:

There is a zoo world bonus checker on facebook. All you have to do is search for it. It has its pros and cons. What it does is check on all of your friends walls for anything published by zoo world. The pro of it is you can collect mystery gifts, flowers for your garden, shrubs, baskets, tables for your greenhouse, help save animals, collect rewards when the animal gets saved, and etc. The checker makes it fast to collect the items.

The cons are you can not adopt animals from the checker. I have not been able to, and I have heard others have not been able to either. I heard someone say that it doesn’t put the animals on until an hour after they were posted on the wall. The other thing is you can not send gift requests posted on people’s walls. It will send you directly to the free gift page, and you have no clue who asked for that gift.

If you use the checker, you will still have to go to people’s walls if you want to help them, and/or adopt animals.

Some see it as a necessary help, because they are so limited on time. Others think it is unfair that they can collect everything so fast. They have a misconception that you can grab other people’s rewards. It didn’t allow me to do so the time I tried it. Unless they believe you can only grab something for so long. The problem there is that they probably already missed the item anyhow, especially if it has been posted for more than an hour. Heck, when I went to use it, I couldn’t grab everything anyhow since I had so many zoo mates, and too much stuff to collect.

You can decide if it is a cheat or not.

There use to be million dollar green houses where the links were passed around so players could snag a lot of money at once. The million dollar greenhouses I found out were created through a glitch when they first came out. Zoo World fixed it so you can only collect money from other greenhouses only if they are a zoo mate of yours.
